This year has certianly been an intersting one when it comes to the realm of getting current publications to the public. Receiving news that my publisher would be putting the current series on hold after releasing the first book was definately a surprise—made even more so when I learned the graphic novel also slated for release would be droppped from their schedule. It turned what normally would have been a pretty busy but well planned out year for two upcoming releases into a bit of a chaotic mess from which I’ve finally begun to emerge.

While the current prospects haven’t brightened they have at least finally settled, leaving me on more solid footing from which I can better assess and make some much needed decisions on what needs to happen next. Obviously, there are going to be things that call for more immediate attention but all now have a much improved response time and window for giving them that much needed focus. And that is what I will be doing in part for the rest of this year.

I’m in the process of reassessing everything from websites to current and future titles planned to everything else in between to try and make sure all is accounted for and everything that isn’t needed moving forward is removed from the process. It’s still going to be daunting in some ways and certianly wasn’t something I was expecting to be undertaking this year but is still something neededful as well as something that will serve to better prepare me for whatever comes next. 

I’ll work to keep folks informed on this site and my social channels on any updates but if slip and something changes or you haven’t heard from me for a span of time you’ll at least know what’s going on in the background.
