Chad Corrie has long enjoyed creating things but it wasn't until he was twelve he began writing. Since then he's written comics, graphic novels, prose fiction of varying lengths, and an assortment of other odds and ends.
This sundry collection of works echoes part of his background in which he's been an editor and writer for an online magazine, owned his own publishing company; worked as a pawn broker, bookseller, pizza cook, toy company rep, and magazine/book merchandiser, among other vocational exploits.
A Minnesota native, he continues to make his home in "The Land of Sky Blue Waters."

His first stories were all written long hand as he only had intermittent access to a computer until high school when he finally saved enough money from his first job to purchase one.
The short story was part of a multi-school newspaper publication complete with an accompanying illustration drawn by another student, making it also his first illustrated story.
After watching the movie he was interested not just in Batman but comics in general, and would later be inspired to start writing his own, which he's been doing ever since.
His first venture into world building was in making his own Lego universe. The practice helped build the foundation he'd later use in the creation of the many other worlds that followed.
Chad wasn't that interested in reading growing up, especially for entertainment. It wasn't until he was about twelve that he started reading for pleasure, though with a slightly tepid pace, until high school when he'd take to it more than ever before.
